Are Home Prices Starting To Cool Off??

Here’s a great article that talks about the real estate market starting to cool off. The reason for the cool-off is because of the cycle of the year we are entering and because interest rates have hit an all-time high of 7.2 % on average.

Because the experts say that new listings rose from July to August, atypical for that period of the year, experts believe some sellers may be trying to cash in on these historically high prices which is bringing more houses onto the market. Please note that we are still about 48% below the average levels of homes on the market between 2017 and 2019.

This is a great article (there’s a video too) to read if you are thinking of selling and/or buying. What I will say all things that go up will come down and vice versa.
