Here’s a great article from the CA Association of Realtors regarding whether or not now is the right time to buy a home.
Because rates are rising and prices dropping, the experts are saying (what I have been saying) that home prices will not drop enough to make up for the higher rates.
What the experts are saying is if you have a stable job and income and can qualify for a loan, buy now and take advantage of the fact that there is little competition to buy a home today.
As to the interest rates . . . the experts suggest . . . "marry the house and date the rate” because you will eventually be able to refinance and get rid of your high rate and lower your payment. WHAT A GREAT SAYING!!!
