After sitting by the sidelines watching what was happening to the real estate market, Millennials jumped in with both feet into homeownership. Considering the majority of this group saw how their parents suffered through the mortgage meltdown, I cannot say I blame them for being a bit more cautious when buying a home.
Throughout the State of CA, the majority of the homes sold were to Millennials. In fact, the biggest of homes sold to this group was in the Northern part of the state in the Bay Area. The County of Los Angeles had 34.5 percent of the homes sold were to Millennials and Anaheim had 33.2 percent of homes sold to Millennials.
