I know it appears that all the recent articles are about the housing market and whether it will crash or continue to go up, and while I don’t want to be a naysayer, I do want you to be informed and prepared so you can make informed decisions about your real estate needs.
At the start of each year, I get a lot of calls from clients asking if it's a good time to sell, buy a first or second home, sell and move out of state, refinance their current mortgage to consolidate debt, and remodel their home. Many also ask if a reverse mortgage on their home makes sense because they're thinking about retiring and want to retire comfortably. All of these real estate transactions need time, preparation, and research, which is why I am always monitoring the real estate market and trends to assist my clients in making educated real estate decisions.
As always, no one (particularly the experts) has a crystal ball to predict what will or will not happen in the real estate market. This is why I prefer to sit down with my customers and discuss their real estate goals and ideas so that we can look at it from all perspectives and tackle it in the most effective way possible.
Believe me when I say I have had many conversations where I say to my clients “You’re crazy don’t sell your house . . . " or "You’re crazy if you don’t sell now . . .” Every person's situation is unique and different which is why I never approach real estate with a “one size fits all” strategy.
This is why by reading these articles and watching these videos, you can begin the conversation and thoughts of your next real estate move, and meeting with me will bring in another perspective to help you with your decision.
If you are content where you live, satisfied with your investments and cash-flowing properties, and have no plans to alter your home or assets, whether the market rises or falls, or interest rates rise or fall, is irrelevant to you.
But if you're even thinking about making a real estate move, call me because it's definitely worth having a conversation, and you'll get all the information you need from me to help you better understand and analyze your next real estate move.
